Tengboche is a village in the Khumbu region of eastern Nepal, located at 3,867 meters. Tengboche has a panoramic view of the Himalayan mountains, including the well known peaks of Tawache, Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Ama Dablam, and Thamserku.
